Webinar: CLT Connections under Dynamic Loading - USA
Timber Connection Technologies such as self-tapping wood screws (STS) are a key factor in Tall Timber Structures when used with Modern Engineered Wood Products such as Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and Glulam (GL). CLT panels and GL beams/posts are held together by connections to form a Tall Timber Structure. One key design objective in these structures is to understand the performance of connections in lateral load resisting systems. This is of importance in seismically active regions such as the west coast of the United States and Canada.
