Experienced Marketing Coordinator/Generalist

MyTiCon was founded in 2011 and is made up of young and driven engineers and business professionals working together to change the way we build green sustainable wood buildings in North America.
Our expertise is in implementing, researching and providing the latest timber connection technologies in both Canada and the USA. We provide among the most advanced engineering support to structural design and architectural firms. Everything we do, we do to build greener, sustainable and beautiful wood buildings.
Our head office and warehouses are located in Surrey, BC, Canada with a  satellite office in Montreal, Qc. This position is preferably in Montreal, but could be in Surrey for the right candidate.

Your Role

As the Marketing Coordinator/Generalist, you will be working and reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the marketing team to create a cohesive marketing strategy. Your main goal will be to execute and coordinate key projects between our engineering team and the marketing team. You’ll sometimes also be the link between our engineering and sales teams.
Some of your responsibilities will be to create and manage our content calendar, automate our marketing processes, create email campaigns, publish our technical documents, organize online and in-person events, order and manage our printed materials and swag, etc. You will be an important part of our effort to generate new hot leads by educating our customers and prospects with the help of the engineering team.
As a key member of the Marketing team, you will play an important role in expanding our presence in the growing North American Mass Timber Industry.
This is a diversified position with potential to grow into a Project Manager role. Opportunities may be available to travel to trade shows and events in major North American cities.

Requirements
  • Undergrad in Business, Marketing or a relevant program from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • 3+ years of marketing experience
