    We have an opening for a professional and personable administrative assistant/bookkeeper. This is a versatile position where you will perform various administrative, AP, and AR tasks. It will start with 3 days per week, but has the potential to grow into more hours in the future.
MyTiCon Timber Connectors Inc. is a young and dynamic team with the goal of implementing modern timber connection technologies to the conservative world of construction in both Canada and US.
Our expertise is in implementing, researching and providing the latest timber connection technologies in both Canada and USA. We provide among the most advanced engineering support to structural design and architectural firms. Everything we do, we do to build greener, sustainable and beautiful wood buildings.

Our head office and warehouse are located in Surrey, BC, Canada with a satellite office in Montreal, Qc. This position is part-time (4 day per week - 8am-5pm) at the Surrey office.

Your Role
  • Record and categorize expenses
  • Enter and pay vendor invoices
  • Enter receivables
  • Work closely with the sales team to monitor customer accounts
  • Update & communicate with customers regarding invoicing & payments
  • Monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts
  • Sales tax (GST, PST) recording & remittances
  • Provide information and work with the external accountant to prepare financial statements
  • Filing
  • Misc. administrative tasks
What You Bring
  • Bookkeeping experience with ACCPAC & Simply Accounting, SAP B1
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Administration skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and able to prioritize tasks
Assets
  • Experience with SAP B1 and bookkeeping
  • Experience in a related role
  • Friendly personality with strong interpersonal skills
